Line 6 Helix Facebook Group

Theres no reason to start a new Facebook group -  the current one is fine - 100% free. With Plenty of advice from all manner of people. There's a wealth of expertise from a huge array of members.

Sure - theres the odd hint or post to join the premium group - big deal.  Chad has to make a living and he'd prefer if it had something to do with the HELIX or line 6 products. There's also others making a bit from presets. They charge. So what ?

Even if Chad decided to put ALL his effort and time into his Premium group there would still be all the remaining HELIX users who've been using HELIX and are well knowledged in it and guitar matters.

Starting a new group is pointless and splits the community.

Yeah, it would be better to make the existing one a better place ;-)

Anyone that thinks the facebook group chad runs is a waste of time or feels pressured is just an A S S - HAT pretty much. You scroll by and read/comment on things you like, simple as that. No one is making you pull your piggy bank out. It's a suggestion, a deal, a problem solver for many. No facebook page is probably gonna be bigger than his page anyway, so pointless to try making another one. No other page on facebook/twitter or anywhere where you can get nice and friendly help FREE if you want it.....

There has been more than one negative experience on the current FB user group. As stated earlier, I want to avoid this.

No compulsion to join man. Enjoy the Helix. Like your vids and looking forward to a lot more!

What was the negative experience?

The current group is excellent and now has almost 4000 members.

You can block a user's posts if there is someone you don't want to see messages from.

I don't see a need for another Facebook helix group.

Between this site, the Facebook group, and the bear page forum there is already enough stuff to follow.

Once again, no compulsion to join...

If you're happy with things the way they are, kudos to you.

There's no need to start a discussion on that level, though. Everyone is free to have it's own opinion and is free to join or leave the group.

The current Facebook site for helix users (now known as the 'original' helix site) is very useful and frequented by a great community. That said, it's a free world and there is absolutely nothing wrong with someone else starting a new community with a different slant. It's an open market baby and may the best ideas win! Good luck with your new idea, may it enlighten us all!
