invidiaboy 1 Posted December 14, 2016 Hello, I'm french so sorry for my english! :) I hope my question hasn't already been asked here. I'm new to Helix and I'm discovering powerful snapshots functionnality. My goal: changing parameter "decay" of my reverb 8.0 in the snapshot 1 named ufo echo 3.0 in the snapshot 2 named refrain As shown in the following video, I manage to put different values of the parameter decay in snapshots 1 & 2. Until I save it's ok. If I save the snapshots, the values of the parameter decay gather to the same value 8 grrrrr https://www.youtube.com/embed/H-i3kJo6G0E Please could you tell me what's wrong with my manipulations? Thanks so much. Cheers, Fred
jbuhajla 325 Posted December 14, 2016 Do you have Global Settings>Preferences>Snapshot Edits set to Recall? (page 51 of the manual)

That will, of course, make it so the parameter value stays the same for every snapshot.
Joepeggio 76 Posted December 14, 2016 I agree with Phil. After you save your done. The controller needs to stay assigned
Digital_Igloo 1,107 Posted December 14, 2016 Assuming the camera icon in the upper left is gray, not red: While on Snapshot 1, PRESS and TURN the Decay knob to 8.0. Its value turns white and appears in brackets, indicating it's assigned to be controlled by snapshots. Select Snapshot 2, and turn the the Decay knob to 3.0. If the camera icon is red, not gray, just be sure to press SAVE twice before you switch snapshots.
invidiaboy 1 Posted December 14, 2016 Thanks for all your responses. In Global Settings>Preferences, I set "Snapshot Edits" to recall. Everything is ok! I've learned a lot reading your answers. Cool.
