Matyrker
I'm sure this has been asked quite a bit before…I know that can import HD patches to HD X models but can you go the other way? I have a few HD X patches that I would like to utilize on my HD Pro. Thanks! M
BillBee
Yes, depending on how much DSP the X uses.
Matyrker
Yes, depending on how much DSP the X uses. What would be the correct way to convert the files?
silverhead
What would be the correct way to convert the files? This file converter is probably the best method. BillBee
Yep, just watch pedal assignments too so double check everything if its a back-up rig. No sense demonstrating that "this one goes to 11" :D
pianoguyy
What would be the correct way to convert the files? You don't even need to convert the files. If something uses too much DSP, you can open the file in offline mode to remove one of the blocks. For me, it is usually a volume pedal. But it could be any number of things depending on your own personal likes.
pianoguyy
Probably, the reason you asked about converting is because you are using the File/Open menu option. In that case, EDIT will not find the the other unit's files. BUT, if you simply click-and-drag the files into EDIT, they will open just fine.
