Firehawk fx compared to firehawk 1500

I posted this also on the fh1500 forum but no responses. Does anyone know if the internals of these two units are the same, outside of the power amp portion on the fh1500? If you were to not run the speakers of your fh1500 and run it thru FOH. Then compare it to a firehawk fx floor pedal. Would they be the same with same exact preset. I've been running my fh1500 with internal speakers off thru my new clr neo Mkii and it sounds better. So I was thinking just running the firehawk fx instead if it is same processors, etc.

In theory they should sound the same, the 1500 does have more processing power but it isn't used for effects , the extra power is used for routing of the stereo signal when used in wet, dry, wet scenario. The firehawk fx cannot do this as far as I know but as you say you prefer the clr it shouldn't be a problem.

Just make sure whatever output you're using on the 1500 is present on the firehawk fx, I'm not sure without looking but I think the 1500 had some extra outputs maybe?

That's the only thing I can think of that might make it sound a little different.
