cchimi
Can a snapshot be copied from one preset to another? If so, that would make a job i have to do MUCH easier. I have a number of songs that take up two or three presets, and I am trying to collapse them into one preset per song. Thanks for any advice. jaminjimlp
Pretty sure you can't do that but you can copy and paste blocks Just use the editor and remember to save each time you change presets to go back and copy the next part.... I had to do this before
silverhead
No. Snapshots are not transferable among presets because no two presets are absolutely identical in overall structure (which includes a lot more than just block selection) unless one is a direct copy of the other- and that's what Snapshots require. To do what you want you need to completely define the first preset, copy it to another slot, and then edit the snapshots in the copied preset. cchimi
It was having to use the method of copying blocks, which is tedious when you have many presets with many blocks to deal with, that caused me to ask the question. I guess I think we should at least be able to easily select multiple blocks for copying and pasting. Maybe that will come in an update. At any rate, I got the work done, and I thank those who replied. Carl
dmschenk
I'm not sure if this helps but you can create a preset that has most of the features you are looking for. Then duplicate the preset, rename it, and make the adjustment for the differences. At least you can get some of the tedious stuff out of the way like naming your snapshots, amps, cabs, effects, assigning buttons, at least in a rough basic form. That would at least lighten the work load a little. Then tweak away. Dave
