Monter
I still use my trusty POD XT from time to time, because it is still a decent modeller, but I would love to be able to edit via my Mac .. I have a horrid feeling that Line 6's editing software won't talk to Mac's OS X now but I thought I'd ask the question "is anyone else managing to edit an XT via Mac?" cheers
BillBee
I don't have a Mac but you can try Line 6 Edit if Gearbox won't work. Two shots at it there. :)
Monter
Thanks. Did that, but it wants me to install a legacy version of Java which is a no no because it screws up other software
ChrisKlinger
Neither Gearbox or Line 6 Edit work with latest Mac & Windows operating systems. The lack of up to date software support makes these devices almost useless (or, at least, not reliably useful 'cos you can't back up patches now). If Line 6 think this is going to make me update by buying their later products, they're sadly mistaken. No reliable support for the reasonable life of a product = I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Smart move, Line 6. Great business model. dshakes
There are a lot of reports of Line6 Edit working on Windows 10 (will try it myself later this afternoon). I am sorry to hear that it does not work on new Macs though....
