WithALoudNoise Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Hey all, I have hooked up my Eventide H9 via the FX send/return 1 and I am having difficulty figuring this out. My input level on the H9 is great but the output level of each patch needs to be boosted to +20dB and the output is still quiet. The Helix fx loop is set to instrument, not line, which I believe is correct. At one point the output level was fine but then it went quiet again when I engaged the looper. I have tried different Helix patches, different FX loops with no luck. Not sure what is going on. I just figured something out - if I pull the MIDI cable connecting the Helix to the H9 the issue goes away. This must be something where the Helix is sending a MIDI control message to the H9 that somehow is messing up the output level of the H9? I want to be able to control the H9 via MIDI eventually... anyone have any clues as to what might be happening? Thanks all! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
