bjnette
Check out custom tones for examples of what might work. A limiting factor on the HD is you get a set of pedal FX that you like and forget to later try out other models. When you add the 30 plus bungle of amps and 99 FX it is alot of options that would take alot of time, a gear aficionado might do it, not me I keep rediscovering the HD after years of use now! napynap
Yeah that's one of the topics discussed in my recent thread http://line6.com/support/topic/24337-pod-hd-starting-over/ For example, while trying to get a great clean tone using a Roland JC120, I actually found it better for a dirty tone and put a stomp box in front of it. scott58
Not really talking about on board fx. I run a Wampler Super-plextortion in front of my POD usually with a SLO 100 amp model. I'm considering a Clarksdale OD for the Fender models. Just wondered if anyone has a pedal they like going into their modelers.
scott58
Like anything else it's just a different flavor.
