Bob_E
And it drives me nuts. Does anybody know of any clever was to stop these little plastic buttons from rattling? I'm currently using a piece of clear tap...
fflbrgst
Is this a new amp? If so, bring it back for exchange (field service not possible/worth it). Never heard of this problem before.

fflbrgst
Tape is your 'easy' answer! You could try pulling the amp apart to see if there's anything to tighten up, but it's hardly worth the bother - you can pick one of these up for less than $50.. Bob_E
The tape works, but I'd like to keep this amp in the living room, and I have a feeling that won't work out so well if it's covered in tape and sticky residue. So, I cracked it open. Everything that holds those buttons in place is screwed on from the front. From under the face plate I guess? The circuit board with the momentary switches snaps in place and has one screw between the insane and tap button (the only two that didn't rattle btw) holding it from the front. Unscrewing the controls and removing the face plate seemed like too much hassle. Instead I wedge pieces of an old paypal cash card (a little thinner than your average gift card) underneath the clips hoping it would hold everything together tighter. It's working great so far. Now the walls are the only thing rattling. :D
