I have a problem with fuse 2 on the motherboard.

Everytime i switch the standby on the fuse blew up. I took a look inside and found out that the 250V/500mA slow blow fuse 2 was broken. I used my multimeter to mesure see how much Volts there are and its around 300.

My question is: does anybody had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

I dont want to pay hundreds of bucks to fix it if its easy to do it on my own.

That's the secondary tube protection fuse I think. You probably have a blown power tube...Keep doing that and you might burn up the grid resistors...My SV MK2 took out that fuse when it blew a power tube...Took me a while to find it as that one isn't documented...There is another fuse for the heaters, but I think that one is higher value...same difference...likely bad tubes...and maybe bad grid resistors too if you did that too many times...

How long since the tubes were changed out?

Not something to mess with yourself, the shock hazard is too great.

You will need the correct fuse, tubes and bias voltages. Best to be left

to a factory authorized technician in your area, who knows the product and

has access to service info and me.
