richiecat Posted April 11, 2017 Share Posted April 11, 2017 This sounds like it might be your guitar that's producing this noise - perhaps a grounding issue? If you touch the strings/metal parts of the guitar does the noise stop or get quieter? I have found that with most guitars I have to use a noise gate to some extent with stomp box/overdrive type effects as they just amplify the effect of any grounding/noisy guitar issues.
