silverhead Posted April 8, 2017 Share Posted April 8, 2017 You also need a VDI cable to connect your Variax to your POD. With the Variax connect d to the HD500 and the HD500 connected to your computer via USB, run Line 6 Monkey. That should tell you if your Variax needs updating, and will help you do the update. Note that Workbench HD will not work with the Variax bass. You need the original Workbench program. Again, Monkey will help you install it.
