Guitar volume slider/white ring - when playing live?

Recommended Posts

I understand this guitar volume slider affects the balance when jamming with BT Mp3's and whatnot, but it also appears to affect the headroom of the guitar when just playing normally. Where would you set this if you were just playing live with a band and the firehawk FX was your main unit? In that case would you set it to 100?

In band rehearsals, I usually run my red volume at about 2:00 and always run the white one at noon. The master on my JBL EON 612 is at full and its 1/4" input is at noon. I use the red volume or the pedal to tweak overall loudness in the room (all my patches map the pedal to volume) When playing live, I just connnect an XLR cable from the EON's pass-through to the mixing board. Works great!

I do the same as ric, I've noticed if you dial it full or close to full ( the white led's) the sound seems to get a lot harsher
