broker2
You can not do a factory reset on the alt. tuning when in 2.0 firmware.
silverhead
You can not do a factory reset on the alt. tuning when in 2.0 firmware. Not sure I understand. Are you saying that when you install (or reinstall) JTV firmware v2.0 it does not restore the factory set of alternate tunings? I've not specifically tried this but I would be surprised if it does not restore them.
TheRealZap
reinstalling the firmware is a factory reset. Ā You can not do a factory reset on the alt. tuning when in 2.0 firmware.
broker2
If you read the manual it says you can do a factory reset on just the alt. tuning but what they tell you to do does not work when you are in the 2.0 so i was wondering if i had to reinstall 1.9 or go back farther to get that factory reset on the alt. tuning to work.So you are telling me if you install 2.o it also sets up the alt. tuning. thanks for your time cal. TheRealZap
yes reinstalling the firmware will reset the alt tunings, its the only way that works with 2.0 currently. you will however lose any custom models you've added or changes you've made. I always advise backing up your current models and allow the firmware to overwrite them all to factory... then if desired restore the backup. (this only works in like for like firmwares... meaning 2.x-2.x or 1.x to 1.x not 1.x to 2.x)
