357mag
On some of the presets I've downloaded whoever set them up made them to use the expression pedal. I'm using a rack POD HD Pro X so I don't have a pedal. If you look at my screenshot you will see on the volume it says EXP-2 and on the drive it reads EXP-1. How do I get rid of the EXP? I'd like mine to simply read Drive and Volume.
spaceatl
you can turn the assignment off on the POD pretty easily. On the HD, put the cursor on the amp...HOLD the move button...you will then see the expression menu for the amp...The drive generally comes up first and you can turn off the EXP there...make sure you save the patch to commit the settings...I am not sure how to do it in Edit as I only use the app for backing up and restoring...I am sure it is there some place... 357mag
But how do I shut these things off? I put the cursor on the amp and hit the Move button so I'm now into that menu. And it says double-click to assign controller. But how to I tell it None? As in no assignments at all? What button do I hit? Alla condo delete? pianoguyy
You are in the EDIT program. Do you not see the "controllers" tab? Have you read the owner's manual(s)? Either way - removing the controller parameter isn't needed. If you don't have an exp pedal, the value won't change. There are probably also some patches that use 1-8 as on/off controls, but if you aren't in 1-8 mode, you only have access to 1-4.

After you get to the controllers menu...All you have to do is spin knob 2 to turn the EXP off...knob 1 goes through the parms....knob 3 and 4 are the Min and Max... This is really stuff you can pick up from the manuals as these sorts of questions tend to come from those that do not...All I can say is..."When all else fails, read the instructions" good luck.
