Finster66
Hi totally new here I've been searching around and can't find what I think should be a simple answer in plan english. I used to have an M13 where in latch mode you can load like 12 completely different presets at once. I am looking into buying a 500X but it looks like you can only have 4 presets loaded at once with another four "assigned" pedals for the top row? Is that right? It seems limiting? pianoguyy
well, technically, you only have one preset "loaded". But, I see what you are talking about --- Yes - four. As far as the top row goes, each button is not limited to one. So really, you can have everything attached to one and still have 3 available if you choose. spaceatl
Go to the Setup Pages and find the FS Mode....You can change it between ABCD (patch mode) and 1-8 (Stomp mode) where you can use all 8 buttons for FX block assignments...If you are looking for have direct access to 8 patches...You could do this by looping the midi out to the midi in and programing PC changes into the buttons...That would not be exactly straightforward as you lose the indicator leds with midi assignments...If you are looking for recallable scenes like in the M13, HD does not do that...That would be a Helix...
pianoguyy
right, but 1-8 isn't presets. it is the ability to turn blocks on or off within one preset. Which, could just be a terminology difference.
