Hellovthere I just recently bought the line 6 spider v 240hc and cabinet. This is the first time I've used a stack and I don't really know how to hook the head up to the cab. I'm not sure if I should hook it up in stereo or mono. Also it says to only use type 2 wiring cables. I'm not really sure what those are. Are they just your standard speaker cables? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Mono or Stereo option is your choice or preference. Many effects are set up for stereo which will provide a fuller sound. The speaker cables they recommend are just standard speaker cables for amplifiers. Do not use instrument cables because the thinner strand signal wire cannot take the higher current of the power amplifier. Do not use patch cables for the same reason.

These will work fine:

Get 2 cables for stereo. Only 1 needed for Mono (use left amp output)
