Corkenmahopper
Was hoping someone might be able to answer these questions for me. The first question is, if I am switching instruments while using helix, do I need to power off the unit? In other words, if I am playing my guitar and then unplug it and plug in my bass is that bad for the Helix like it is with an amplifier when it pops ? Second question, when I am scrolling through my impulse responses I noticed that the names of some of them ( which can be quite long) appear to get cut off. I assume there is a limited number of characters allowed on the Helix screen which is why some of them get cut off? Thanks
AlexKenivel
Question 1: No need to power off the unit. Muting with the tuner or simply lowering the volume could solve the popping issue. Question 2: Yes
jbuhajla
I usually have a volume block somewhere in my chain that I control with expression pedal. Turn your volume down with that, then change instruments.
