da-picker
Even with a FBV Shortboard Mk2, I can't seem to connect to my Spider Valve, which appears to be the original version. There are no midi ports, only the FBV connector. My Shortboard has the USB port, but when I plug it in, it seems to stop communicating with the amp. Does anybody know any way I can get my computer to talk to this sucker?
AquaRegia
To my knowledge, the Spider Valve original (i.e., Mark I) amp cannot connect to a computer. I was also disappointed to find this, and I bought a Mark II for exactly this reason!
psarkissian
When plugging in to a computer, it goes out of pedal mode and into USB mode. The MkII has MIDI connectors in back. No computer connection with MkI. And no trying to get MkII models into a MkI,... in case that was your next question.
