JLEpperson
I have had my HD500 for 4 years and use it practically every weekend. Last night in the middle of the set my presets have been set to default. There were a few left in the upper memory. What would have caused this? Has anyone else had this issue before? pianoguyy
What do you mean "set to default".And what is "upper memory".
cruisinon2
From your description it's a little unclear exactly what happened, but when in doubt do a factory reset and/or reinstall the latest firmware. Back up your existing patches if you haven't already so they can be restored after the reset.
napynap
I haven't had that happen, but I've always imagined it happening, so I bring a backup POD HD desktop + Power supply +ethernet and FBV just in case. The same sounds are loaded into it.
spaceatl
The peculiar thing is that the HD Pods do NOT have a factory reset function like the XT and X3 had. In order to reset patches to factory, the firmware has to be flashed. The only other way would be to copy patches over...I have seen folks overwrite patches that they thought were being moved between two set lists using the hardware interface...I have also seen folks claim that patches were removed only to discover that HD has multiple set lists and they had just changed the set list without knowing...just some thoughts. brokenbones
What was the power situation like on stage? Were you plugged into a surge protector?
