tinkerman
Is there any way to turn the looper on and off with a foot switch? I have a Spider 5 and FBV Express MK2. If not, Can a separate foot switch be installed? Thanks.
NBell
Hi Tinkerman, To control the looper remotely with Spider V you would need an FBV Shortboard MkII or the FBV3.
thorneven
I've got the FBV long board and it works well too. But you have to map the pedal switches to the amp features. The amp1 and amp2 pedal buttons access the looper features.
megseidel
Hi, I unfortunately bought me a FBV Express MKII which is unusable for controlling the Looper on Spider V 60. I read the article where NickBell said that it would work, later on this information was corrected, but too late for me. Is there any board where I can assign (Loop-Start - Loop-Stop - Oberdub - functions) to different switches? Further on I do not want to do a doubleclick to stop the loop. Any recommendations? br Markus
Tcamponovo
The FBV3 control the looper with zero problems.
mrjosephje
THE DOUBLE CLICK IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO ADD "TRACKS i'LL CALL THEM" TO YOUR INITIAL LOOP. 1 CLICK YOUR OVER DUBBINGH, 2 CLICKS STOP. PERSONALLY WHAT BOTHERS ME IS THE LOCATION OF THE LOOPER SWITCH. HALF THE TIME I CLICK IT TO ANOTHER PROGRAM STEPPINF OVER THE ASASIGNED CHANNELS THEY SHOULD HVE LEFT IT ION THE SAME PLAVCE AS THE FVB 2 IT ACTUALLY WORKED BETTER THERE. THESE DAYS IF SOMETHING WORKS , EVERYBODY WANTS TO CHANGE IT. SOMETIME IT MIGHT BE BEST TO LEAVE IT ALONE. I Ramble on. lol cheers
