vertigo84
Have you guys some experience in using the Laney IRT-X as a FRFR speaker/cab for the helix? http://www.laney.co.uk/products/irt-x/ Thanks
lewisjenkins
Yes, I use an IRT-X with my Helix and it’s brilliant. It feels like an actual amp. I’m planning on buying a second one for stereo. Highly recommended.
Ichil
A question: the IRT-X is rated at 200w RMS. It's enough for stage monitoring (with Helix in the PA) and as main sound source for guitar in little clubs and rehearsal?
lewisjenkins
I haven't tried it in a band situation but I'm sure it would be fine. It's very loud. I've seen posts on this forum where people are using it live and they say it works well. See this post, for example: http://line6.com/support/topic/23337-laney-irt%E2%80%93x/?do=findComment&comment=207530 Like I say above, it's brilliant with the Helix and I'm buying a second one for stereo effects.
