FiberOptik Posted September 5, 2017 Share Posted September 5, 2017 I was curious as to what types of rack cases you guys put your Helix rack in? Does anyone suggest any one in particular? I've been looking into a variety of cases. Would love to see what you guys are using at gigs or in the studio! Of course any shots of your Helix rack in action would be cool too. bobruz Posted September 5, 2017 Share Posted September 5, 2017 I use an SKB, 6U, Roto Rolling rack for my Helix, L6 G90 wireless and a Koch ATR-4502 single space tube hybrid stereo amp. Pretty sweet. Snap off the covers, cable up and you're ready to go. Case keeps the gear clean, protects it from moisture and it rolls around like luggage. tedulrich Posted September 5, 2017 Share Posted September 5, 2017 Granted I currently only play at home, and have a floor unit, not a rack, but I do use it with some outboard gear. I built my own rack by bolting a couple of rails inside a discontinued Sauder RTA microwave cart I picked up at Ollie's for $9. Helix sits on top for now.
