Hi,

I just bought used POD XT with broken usb port. I've tried to authorize connecting via midi ports, but license manager does not detect the device.

Can I authorize it through the midi at all?

It's a USB Cable.

Atacched you find the message error:

IMPORTANT!: The PODxt Live you are connecting to is not valid Line 6 hardware.

Please inform Line 6 Customer Support about this message to receive further instructions.

Could you help me with it?

There was an error communicating with your device. If it is a USB device, try disconnecting then reconnecting the USB cable.

Error: (Code 8000710B) Hardware is not valid.  Please contact Line 6 customer service immediately with this error.

To use midi you need to use a midi/usb cable like the M-Audio Uno.

This is correct. You must use a decent quality cable - cheap cables often do not transmit SysEx data, which is what you need for the software to see the Pod.
