reyrios10
I always have to mic my amp because if I go to the console from the XLR output it clips pretty bad. I haven't found a way to lower the output from an XLR. Is this a problem or do you know of any solution I am not aware of?
guitardad123
XLR levels will follow the amp's preset volume levels. Mine are juiced pretty good as well, but we adjust the mixer channel "Input Gain" which is usually the top knob or control on the mixer. On our band's XR18 mixer I set the input gain about until I ride about -6db on the channel. Some mixers have channel pads where they can drop the signal by 10 or more db.
