Can we please have backup and restore capability in the Spider Remote app so we can backup any changes we make on the road and restore presets if something should happen while on the road? guitardad123 Posted October 24, 2017 Share Posted October 24, 2017 PC and Mac editors have backup and restore. You can also save individual presets to personalized file folders on your computer. Backups for the mobile apps are cloud based, or you can save them to "My Tones" which is an internal folder within the app. There is no full backup and restore utility on the app version as far as I know. It would be so easy to implement. All the app has to do is save off into a file all the settings the app is displaying. That would be backup. Then restore would be to read the saved file, display the settings and send the settings to the amp. Easy peazy ! I could do it in less than 100 lines of code.
