Polaris20
Every time I install the HD500 driver on my Mac, it causes kernel panics and crashes the computer. This has occurred on every version of OS X 10.8 up to the current version, and has occurred on a three year old Core 2 Duo MBP, a retina MBP15, and now my brand new MacBook Air. Any thoughts? Is this a known issue? Running the machine without the driver installed results in a solid machine, no issues.
bvaladez74
It happens in Maverick too. Seems to work fine with updates and all that....but on a 500x reboot, after an update...seems to crash my MAC. I wonder if I unplug the usb cable quickly after the update, if it'll still crash. Anyway, ANOTHER BUG.
Polaris20
It happens on my system without even having the POD HD loaded; merely the kext being there is enough to tank it. Not happy, as this severely cripples the usefulness of the POD HD, if I can't record directly with USB and/or use POD HD Edit.
lester_paul
Yeah, I am also having the same problem. I have just updated to OSX 10.11 and it's exactly the same issue. Albeit my mac is mid 2011, everything else works fine (so far), but this is really bugging me too for the same reasons as most before me who've commented.
