mwoolsey
Can G10 be power using XLR with phantom power?
jbuhajla
Don't think so. Phantom power is 48v, and the G10 requires 5v. I am pretty sure the XLR on G10 is signal output only.

Well, it's fairly common for devices like DI's and such to power from either 9v adapter or 48v phantom power. I assume they use some sort of regulator internally to get to the required voltage. I thought that might be the case with the G10 base.
psarkissian
jbuhajla is correct. I see nothing in the unit to indicate phantom power capability. Should be instrument level output. Phantom power is for condenser mics at mic level outputs. So don't phantom power it.
