lindsayward
Hi, Recently, Sean Halley posted a blog entry about getting good JTV acoustic sounds with a POD HD (http://blog.line6.com/2013/2061/). He says "Here is a typical patch (available on my CustomTone profile):", but there's no link... I found his customtone profile at: http://line6.com/customtone/profile/seanhalley/ but the acoustic tone there (http://line6.com/customtone/tone/219017/) is not the same as the one he's demoing and has screenshots of on the blog post. Is this patch available? Sean? (I posted a reply on the blog entry a few days ago, but it hasn't come up yet.) Thanks.
tochiro
I've read that blog entry and I'm surprised about the 11 gauge strings because that means it's not usable for me for electric guitar parts requiring bends. The strings I use are 9 gauge strings and changing to 11 gauge strings is simply impossible for my fingers :-(
lindsayward
I think he still only uses 6 strings ;)
Stevenromig
I bought a JTV59p and set it up with 13 to 56 so it would feel more acoustic. The necks just right. I use D'addario J22's. It horrified the guy setting it up but i love it. It's great of slide playing and I have no trouble bending the notes. If you really want your guitar to sound acoustic and feel acoustic this is as close as you'll get.
