So far theres been one test done that i know of, and it showed that there was no audible difference in sound. Now that test does not cover the the entire unit and you very well could be using different components that what was tested. The only way to know for sure is to reamp one of your settings thru 2.21 and import it into 2.3, but i have a hunch that there is no audible difference between 2.21 and 2.3 across the board, other than the obvious. Ive also stumbled onto a very unofficial and unscientific test of my own and have concluded the same. No audible change. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What you would need to do is reamp a dry patch through the 2.21 firmware, and then reamp that same dry patch through the exact same preset but in 2.30 firmware. bobthedog Posted November 26, 2017 Share Posted November 26, 2017 I just wanted to say what a great update this is. The new amps are good and the Cosmos Echo and Bleat Chop trem are fantastic. Also I think some of the amps at least sound better! To top it all the HX editor works so much more smoothly on my mac than the last editor with a much better upgrade system for the helix.
