psarkissian
When it asks you if you want to save patches before continuing, click on "No". The last thing you want to do is save failed patches. That way, you get a fresh set of presets.
kevin11007
Hi psarkissian ,thankyou for the reply, I think I did click no on saving patches.Should I try update again and see what happens?. Is it possible for damage to occur if something disconnects during update. Thanks
psarkissian
Possible, but rare. Newer main board are more robust with that than the early ones.
psarkissian
Oh,.. looking at your serial number, you probably do have an early board. Do you recall what the firmware version that you originally updated from???
kevin11007
Yes psarkissian, ive have had this variax quite a long time and have reflashed it a few times, this one was from v 1.71 to latest
psarkissian
Good! Hit again a couple more passes. Make certain the battery has two or more LED's lit.

psarkissian
If that doesn't do it, then it will need to go to an authorized service center. And they will need to email me. I'll need to check a couple things with them at that point.

psarkissian
:) It's what I'm here for. Like I say, I'm here to needlessly keep your gear off of my repair bench. Enjoy. Rock on.
