Hi,

So I just bought a POD XT Live and in the process of figuring out how to add custom tones. I dont see a forum dedicated to this topic so I was hoping someone here could recommend some good clean and blues tones? While searching the custom tone webpage, the search and description aspect of it leaves a little to be desired in my opinion.

Thanks

And unfortunately, the tones themselves will leave even more to be desired. What you'll find is that description is often completely divorced from reality on your end. It's not anybody's fault, and any given patch might sound great to the good samaritan who posted it, but there are too many variables that affect the end result for there to be any real continuity from one player to the next...guitars, pickups, and especially what you're monitoring through, just to name a few. Customtone seems like a great idea, but mostly it's a waste of time. You can easily end up downloading 100 or more patches for every one you end up actually using. It's infinitely faster to just do it yourself.
