deadpan
Hi All,Just received a Royer R121 and doing some IRs to include a SM57 and SM7b .Hoping to find a few guys willing to record the main heavy riff of Pull Me Under without a cab active, just the amp model.I will load some IRs to compare. Would like to have many to compare as we all have different guitars etc...Thanks All!
Lachdanan0121
Ha, no I wish. :P He is one hell of a guitar player. One of the best when it comes to rock rhythm, and lead playing. I would love to see him improve his heavier rhythm playing though. I heard rumors he is bringing an 8 string on for the next album. So I am intrigued to say the least... He is an inspiration of mine though. Truly plays like that LIVE too.
willjrock
Which riff is "the main riff" exactly? There are a lot of "main riffs" in that tune, in my view.
willjrock
Also, a DI might be the thing here. That would allow greater flexibility on your end.
Deadpan869
I do have a coupler dis, both recorded with the Kemper. Unfortunately I don't have a Helix to reamp it. I have reaped the a couple Kemper tones and some firebox along with a couple Helix but could really use some more helix. If someone is willing I can send my di for reamping. Here is a Kemper version with the di: https://soundcloud.com/livereadyprofiles/lrs-boogieman-r121-m160-test
