cmorrow132
So hoping someone else has encountered this issue and knows a fix. I am running vmware fusion on OSX 10.8.5 with Win7 x64 as the guest. I installed the Line6 Monkey, the hd500 drivers and HD500 Edit in the VM. The pod shows up, but all I get is distorted sounds and sometimes beeps from the pod. The pod works flawlessly in OSX. The reason I want to run in a VM is to use a DAW that doesn't work on OSX 10.8. Any ideas on how to get this to work in a vm?
TheRealZap
I had less than stellar performance using parallels... even bootcamp was less than perfect, but better once i got the right drivers. what DAW, and what is it that you like so much that you can't give up? joel_brown
Good luck... I know that isn't helpful but you're sticking your hand in the fire and asking how not to get burned.
redlight7777
Cmorrow123 Get yourself a copy of reaper which works on both platforms pc and mac. They have a full copy on their website for $60 It works well on both pc and mac platforms. Then you can stay in 10.8.5 until mavricks becomes available. It will save you the headache. There is a learning curve. Reaper.fm Hope that helps you a bit. And it doesnt break the bank
cmorrow132
Thanks for the responses. I've ended up settling for reaper for now. It's not what I'm used to, and feels a little rugged compared to Sonar, but it works.
