marciolimongi Posted February 11, 2018 Share Posted February 11, 2018 I've been searching online and considering an expression pedal for my M5, which I mostly use for modulation effects. I would love to be able to control the tempo (sometimes called speed or rate in modulation stompboxes) with an expression pedal instead of the tap tempo switch on the M5... has anyone tried to see if this works? The manual says that tap tempo mode can't be changed with the expression pedal so I got confused, as I've never had the chance to try an expression pedal with my M5. Thanks for the info! NBell Posted February 16, 2018 Share Posted February 16, 2018 With the M-series, any parameter can be controlled with an expression pedal. To achieve this, I recommend setting the Mod to 'Rate' opposed to note-subdivision (ex: 1/4, 1/8).
