phil_m
They don't answer in what way? On the forums? These are user forums, not really support forums. If you have a specific issue you need help with your best bet is to open a support ticket here or call them at 818-575-3600 (option 2), 8am – 12pm & 1pm – 4pm Mon-Fri Pacific Time. Gaz_Ham
First off, have you worked your way through the audio troubleshooting guide? It usually fixes any faults; http://line6.com/support/topic/217-usb-audio-troubleshooting/?view=getnewpost If you have checked monkey and it says it's all Ok, update the drivers manually, that has worked for me in the past. Do you have trouble using as a plug in or stand alone? Or both?

I had a similar problem with latest sierra, and support provided me with the following, which worked (they guided me to the below links, bypassing Monkey): The driver installation has changed on High Sierra: http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/recording/computer-audio-set-up-and-troubleshooting/macos-high-sierra-1013-driver-installation-change-r879 Please check out the Security & Privacy seetings on your iMac and try to reinstall the latest Mac driver v7.6.7 (without using Monkey). It can be downloaded here: http://line6.com/software/ However, I'm now getting the static as well, and while it went away when I swapped out a USB cable, it's back again regardless of cable. If you get a solution, please share. Best, Phil
foofighterux2
hi phil.i now unplug my studio monitors at night.seriously.also ive got buffer on highest setting.if i get a few pops and static which i still get on occasions i turn everything off then reboot.its the best i can do for myself.yes high sierra security.i allowed it in mac also.do not plug in toneport ux2 or interface while your downloading podfarm 2.dow load then put usb in after.over all its a million times better than it was.mine was unplayable.there is in my opinion a glitch in there somewhere. ePhil67
So as an update - after a lot of frustration, I contacted Line6 Support. They suggested that I reinstall the latest driver (V7.6.7). I did so, again not using Monkey, and yesterday was able to finally do some recording once again without any static! So give that a shot - if the static reappears, I'll just keep doing that step.
