pbassred
My Bass Pod xt live has taken to jumping into the amp tone control display all by itself. Seeing the display is not the problem, but the reason it does it, is that it thinks that a tone control has moved. This means that all of my tone settings change to whatever the knobs are set to. It will typically do it a second after I select/reselect a tone. Sometimes it settles for a few minutes, but I never know when it going to change. I've tried tapping around the controls and it does not seem to be vibration ( unless I really thump it) How can I stop it?
maskedoblivion
Hello, I have a similar problem going on with my Pod Xt live (not bass pod). It keeps jumping back to Amp Tone Controls display. The tone itself however do not change. Sometimes even when I am trying to edit a patch, it jumps back to Amp Tone Controls display. If I continue with what I am doing (as in editing) with other controls, it comes back to the edit display and let me do what I am doing. But it can jump back to Amp Tone Control display again. I don't think it's affecting the overall tone (or may be it is, which I will find out about before I post here again), however it's simply annoying that it keeps doing that. Exactly how pbassred mentioned above, "it thinks" that an Amp Tone Control knob has been touched/moved. Once it jumps to the tone control display in most cases it just stays there on my pod unless I push some other buttons or turn a knob. Line6 , could you please advise? Thanks. abartrosis
I think i found a solution for this! this worked for me. Just remove the pots of the amp tone controls and clean both the controls and the potentiometers :)
