Saving IR's to a preset

You don't save an IR to a single preset.

There is the impulse panel where you can load IRs.

You have to correlate the IR number of the IR block (within a preset) with the number of the desired IR in the impulse panel.

So you can use a single IR for multiple presets.

 

Thanks aware of that but in order to retain the IR when you go back to the preset you must do what I stated

Let's try again. After you insert an IR block into a preset effects chain, select the number of the IR slot you want the preset to use (it will also list the name of the IR). Then save the preset. The preset will then always reference the same IR slot number when you load the preset. If you change the IR in that numbered slot, the preset will use the new IR. So keep them organized.
