Bassplayer1976
I just recieved my FBV Express MkII today. Is this (as well as all other Line 6 products) only compatible with Line 6 amps? Or is there a way to use it with, for example, a Fender Rumble?
fflbrgst
The FBV MkII can be used as a MIDI controller using the Spider software, but I don't think there are any Fender Rumble features that it could access the Rumble only has audio out, FX loops, etc.
cloph
Even if the Fender would support midi input, you wouldn't be able to use it directly - you would have to connect it to a computer via USB and use the "Line 6 FBV Control" software to configure what midi-events the button presses/expression pedal should generate. And you would then need to hook up your computer's midi-out to the target amp. So answer to "can I control other midi devices with a FBV controller" is yes and no - you need a computer as middleman.
