ddufour
I have downloaded a lot of custom tones from the site. Occasionally I will get a patch without a volume pedal in it. Sometimes when I add it, it works fine, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. I go to patches that it works in to see exactly how it is set up including the controller section of the editor and duplicate it, but still doesn't work. Any reason for this? silverhead
Try recalibrating your pedal. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/effects/pod/pod-hd/pod-hd500xhd500-pedal-calibration-r161
ur2funky
Check to see if the volume effect is set to EXP1 or EXP2 on the controller page and which one your exp pedal is currently using (red or green light next to exp pedal)
ddufour
Hi. Just did a pedal calibration but it didn't fix the problem.
ddufour
EXP-1 is set to wah and is off in the fx screen. EXP-2 is set for volume and is on when I go to the fx screen. EXP-1 led is red next to the pedal.
ur2funky
EXP-1 is set to wah and is off in the fx screen. EXP-2 is set for volume and is on when I go to the fx screen. EXP-1 led is red next to the pedal. Click on the EXP Toe Switch to switch to EXP-2 (green light comes on). Volume pedal will now work. Save the patch. If you still have problems with this patch, make sure that the Volume Pedal controller "FS ASSIGN" is set to "None" (on the Controllers page) and that when switched to EXP-2, the Volume Pedal is still turned on in the FX Screen. Then send the selected patch to the HD to save it. ~Cheers!
