Help With MIDI. Controlling a Boss SY-300 with Helix

This is a cinch!

First confirm what midi channel the sy-300 is set to use through it's menu. 

Menu---midi---midi settings

It's the first option

Then go to the helix command center on the patch your working with.

Now choose an instant command.

Command - bank/prog

Midi ch - whatever channel you have the boss set to

Program - the number of the present you wish to recall.

Working great for me. However if you intend to send midi commands using footswitches in snapshots mode, you'll have to wait, cause with current firmware the helix is a crippled animal at the moment.... dying for another update to fix this!!!!!
