Firmware 2.54 amplist

HI all.
Not posted for a while. Just updated my Helix lt to firmware 2.54 and I need to ask a favour...

Can someone confirm or let me know how the amp+cab list has changed. As previously mentioned, I'm a blind guy and whilst I can use lots of the Lt, when things change, I don't know what's where. I'd assumed new amp moddels just get appended to the list but having briefly had someone to look, it looks like the Line6 models are all moved towards the end.

Is that right. So for example referring to my notes from previous firmware, 2.20 if I recall,  further down the list, I have:
PV Panama. Guitar. Peavey ® 5150 ®.
Line 6 Elektrik. Guitar. Line 6 Original.

So between the PV Panama and the first Line6, is that where I should expect to find all the newer models in latter firmware? Valve Queen, the new Texas and Placator, etc?

Basically, when new amps are added. Where do they go in the list?I'm presuming the amp+cab list still starts with the Whowatt 100.

Yeah, of course I can just pick one I like the sound of by ear but it's nice to know what amp I'm using as I read other people's experiences with them.

OH yeah, I know there's a legasy category in the FX models now. Thanks Line6. Loads of goodies in there. I may sell my Filter pro now.

Cheers

Oh yeah, I'll mention this in Ideascale but please Line6. I hope you never let the models list wrap. That is when you get to the bottom, a further downwards press on the joystick would take you back to the top. If that happened, it would pretty much kill off the usability of the Helix for people like me.

Hi

Well, new amps are not appended at the end, they are inserted on different places in the list. Don't know if this is of any help but  I made a list in the order they appears on the unit and made an X before the new ones. Its from 2.30 and 2.50 upgrades. Hope I catched all...

If this works for you I can list the effects to.

In summery the list starts with WhoWatt and the new ones are inserted on different places. If you are interested I have them alla set up in a pdf, don't know if that is a good format for you, if so let me know and I send it to you.

Thanks @PerS
Great. That's very helpful. :) I've copied that into my notes. Will be exploring some of these more later.

I'd been using the Line6 Badonk a bit, thinking it was the Placater. It did sound more gainy than the youtube demoes of it I'd heard. Is good though.

If you already have a text pdf of the effects models, I'd love to have a copy. Don't create one from scratch on my account though.

Cheers.

The difference between what I published above and in the earlier published PDFis that in the PDF there is som more info about som details in amps and effets, e.g. default mic in cabs etc. There is no marks of whats new between versions. The PDF has full focus on find the correct object in the right order with some handy data applied to it.

I came from POD HD Pro, so an old man had needs to learn all new namnes :-)

Take care //Per

Not to bad. It's in Excel so updates are easy. Above was just cut and past, Hard part was to remember what was new :-). Glad someone else find it usefull.

The impressive part is to look at this list and see all the possibiliies in the Helix. Just great. Good work Line6. Looking forward to the next update
