rcrom4
I've had POD Farm 2.59 for a few years now and have never been able to get it to work as a stand alone. I can access the program and go through the motions, but have never been able to use since I can't get hear my guitar. I believe I have everything installed correctly since I can use the amps recording in Reason 7, but I would really like to be able to do some customer stuff using the program stand along. I've tried updating preferences with different input and output channels. No luck. When I click on ASIO settings...nothing. I'm using a Alesis audio interface and it works with everything else. What the hell am I doing wrong here?
fflbrgst
DO you have the Alesis selected in PodFarm AND Windows (assume that's your O/S) as the audio input and output device, and headphones/speakers plugged into the Alesis?
rcrom4
Yes, that is correct. Selected in windows. The only option given in POD farm if for Alesis i02 for MIDI. I have nothing plugged in MIDI on the device.
fflbrgst
The Alesis has a 'direct/USB' monitor mix dial, can you hear the guitar when you turn the dial to 'direct'? I'm wondering that since the Alesis is an older device, you don't have drivers that are compatible with your OS (are you running Win 10?) rcrom4
Yes I can hear it through the interface. This interface works perfectly with my recording software reason, but for some reason I can’t get it to work with POD farm. Yes, running windows 10.
