utubebenscott
Hi, where do i place my volume pedal in my chain (when using both the four cable method for effects only, and when using the pre amp from pod) If i want to lower the overall volume but not lose any gain and still keep post effects like reverb and delay? Only the overall volume lowering, like when you are turning down the mixer in HD edit, thanks!
BlueViolince
Put it right before the delay, or otherwise after all gain staging.
spaceatl
You could also save an FX Slot by assigning the amp model channel volume to the expression pedal...post FX stay on...etc...
BlueViolince
I have done the same thing for most of my patches. You can also tie gain, treble/bass/etc, and wah to the pedal at the same time to get unrealistically ideal tonal sweep whenever you use the wah. I have a dual amp patch that does this very well. Slight bass/midbass boost at toe down, and treble boost and at toe up.
