bignath
Hi everyone, just a couple of quick questions regarding my new 500x... 1. Is there a way where you can either on the pod itself or using the edit software, to easily "delete" a patch? Or do you have to go to the patch you don't want anymore, and manually remove everything... 2. The edit software looks like a really useful timesaver when compiling patches, but is there a way where you can print out the data of each created patch? For me, i'd like to be able to keep a folder of all my patches I create over time as a hard copy, so if needed, I can rebuild patches if I am away from my computer... Cheers in advance, bignath
silverhead
1. There is no 'delete' function. You delete a patch by overwriting/replacing it with a different patch. The easiest way to do this is to use the editor and drag/drop an 'empty' patch to the location you want to delete. You can create an empty patch, or use the New Tone preset that comes with the User setlists in the factory presets. 2. No - there is no printout capability, nor is there an export capability (e.g. to an Excel spreadsheet). However, some users have created templates to manually enter preset data into a printable file.

If I drag and drop, this won't "delete" but instead, it just moved the original patch. How do I completely get rid of a patch for good? silverhead
Hold the CTRL button (makes a copy) while you drag/drop. This replaces (not just moves) the original patch.
jandrio
For exporting a list with preset names, try this one: http://line6.com/support/topic/5196-export-list-from-l6-edit/?do=findComment&comment=34157
