leff321 Posted October 29, 2013 Share Posted October 29, 2013 Hi. I am using Rme Fireface UC, logic X and a Macbook Pro. I want to use the spdif from hd 500x into the rme audio interface. When I try to do that I wont get any sound in logic... even the rme mixer shows that I get signal but not logic or garageband. The 500x is set as master regarding to the spdif connection using 44.1 khz on both devices. I have tried all the lines from 1 to 8 on rme... no sound. Cant find any spdif input in logic. (I know that I dont explane so good... this is not my native language :-)) Any ideas? One more thing... I get sound when using hd 500x usb with garageband. Because then its like a sound card. But its like theres no speaker simulation. I have set it to direct input or what its called... dont remember. Its like that in my headphones to. When its connected to the dt25 it sound fine.
