Shrednoise321
Is there a special cable or way to switch the channels of my Peavey 6534+ with the hx effects? I have one on the way and I'm trying to figure this one out Since the plug for the footswitch for the 6534+ looks like a midi plug but is not midi. Any help would be great!!!!! Hi Shrednoise321, This issue keeps cropping up and the Line 6 stance is, HX Effects switching has been tested with many popular brands of amps and heads, but cannot guarantee it will work with all. The thing with your Peavey 6534+ is that it has it own dedicated foot switch and cable, as noted in the Owner's Manual: Special 3-button unit with LED indicators (supplied) Channel select and reverb It doesn't have MIDI either so you cannot use that option for switching via the HXFX. See similar discussion about Mesa Boogie here: https://line6.com/support/topic/34463-amp-switching-doesnt-work-on-mesa-boogie-triple-rec-and-engl-powerball/?tab=comments#comment-265203 Hope this helps/makes sense. Shrednoise321
So if I can find a RJM mini amp gizmo box, I can use midi correct?

HXFX and the RJM Mini Amp Gizmo can both deal with the MIDI side of things, but you said in the original post that you have a Peavey cable on the way. If you invest in a Gizmo you will need an AC adapter and a special cable, as noted on RJM website: "Please note! An amp interface cable is required for the Mini Amp Gizmo to connect to your amp, and these cables are sold separately. We offer many cables for most of the popular amps on the market." So, it may well be an expensive option simply for channel switching. Only you can decide if that's a good idea?
Shrednoise321
I should've been bit more clear. I have an HX Effects on the way. If I run the HX in 4cm and use my peavey footswitch, I shouldn't have issues? I just have to leave the loop on? I'd only have to hit the channel switch and the HX to switch my snaps?
