Yep, that's a "pre-amp" signal you are sending to that speaker Danno.

Maybe the Helix-2 Introduced this Holiday Season (or Jan-19) will have an amp included... ; )

Please tell us more!

Is this for real?

Helix II, or the question about trying to drive a speaker without a power amp? For the latter, I think it is... it's not the first time I've seen that question asked around here.

As for a Helix successor this soon, I doubt it...I think he was goofing. Either way, I don't care... finally got this thing working the way I want. I'll be damned if I'm gonna start from scratch again... just barely had his one for a year, lol

Real? Just guessing ; ) but I've not been told NO by anyone official either (and won't be).

I'm nearly certain that Line 6 doesn't have any interest in releasing Helix hardware with a built-in power amp.

There's no Helix 2 currently in development.

Oops Looks Like DI just nailed me on that guess. I stand corrected.

Thanks, DI... As always you are the candle in the Line-6 darkness.

OTOH, Maybe it's just not called "Helix 2. ; )

The Vetta was Helix's grampa Phil- so that's kinda where I got the notion. They obviously don't now (DI just confirmed it) have such a thing as a Helix 2 in development, but they certainly did at one time have a powered device not much unlike Helix is (minus current technology) . Yes, that was a while back, but still.
