awol135
Just wondering if a line 6 M9 can connect to a POD HD500 and sync with the pedal. What i mean by this is that when i change my patches will the M9 change patches as well ?
phil_m
The short answer is yes. The HD sends out PC messages when you change presets, and the M9 will respond to those. The M9 only has 24 presets, so that will only work for the first 6 banks of presets on the HD.
awol135
So i connect the Line 6 M9 to Pedal 2 Input ? or the FX Send/Return ? or the output of the POD HD500 ?

Don't confuse MIDI and Audio... This question I quoted above is about AUDIO.... if it were me, I'd put the M9 into the loop of the HD500. * HD Loop send to M9 input * M9 output to HD Loop return * Don't forget to insert and turn on the loop block on the HD. The original question about syncing patches (already answered by phil_m) will require a MIDI cable. * Midi OUT from the HD500 to Midi IN on the M9 The two units should talk to each other (patch changes) without any additional setup... unless the default midi setting have been changed.
