daveyball
Just got the Powercab112+, plugged a standard XLR form my Helix mono output in to the Digital L6 link socket on the back of the PC. No sound!! Is this correct? If I use the same cable form the Helix AES port to the PC that's fine. I have the XLR on the Helix set to line. Am I missing something or possible faulty PC? phil_m
Huh? The PC's L6 Link input will only work with a digital signal. The signal coming from the Helix's XLR outputs is analog. The L6 Link/AES/EBU port on the back of the Helix is a digital out, so that's what you'd use to connect to the PC's AES/EBU (L6 Link) jack. I'm guessing this is speech-to-text gone awry... If you're asking if you can use the XLR outs from Helix into the top input jacks on the Powercab, the answer is yes.
